SKOKIE, Ill. (CBS) -- A Holocaust survivor who commissioned a Torah scroll was in Skokie today for the scroll's dedication, in memory of her family who did not survive.
The Torah scroll is the gift of 88-year-old Marge Fettman of Lincolnwood - a Holocaust survivor.

Her daughter, Ricki Saltzman, said it's for future generations.
"That's the whole idea, that other people will be able to benefit from this," Saltzman said.
Marge Fettman was at the Auschwitz concentration camp for about a year. Her parents, a sister, and two nephews died.
"God knew that I'm going to go in His way, and I'm going to do the things He likes, and the things He wants me to do, and I'm going to raise a family who's going to go in His way also," Fettman said.
She said her family was on her mind at the dedication.
"Always. You don't forget your family, you know?" she said.
