Hacker Forces Naperville To Take Down Website
NAPERVILLE (CBS) -- The city of Naperville blames a hacker for shutting down its official website for nearly a week.
But Naperville's city manager Doug Krieger says residents won't have to worry about their credit cards being compromised by the virus.
Meantime, there's a criminal investigation into the breach.
The hacker has left what Krieger called the digital version of fingerprints, and the main site will remain down while the investigation continues.
