Former Chicago Mayor Daley Released From Hospital

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Former Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley was released from Northwestern Memorial Hospital just after noon on Saturday.

Daley, 71, had been hospitalized in the intensive-care unit for more than a week after returning from a business trip in Arizona. He walked out of the hospital surrounded by his family and got into a waiting vehicle.

He has an incredibly busy schedule. Daley is a partner at Katten Muchin law firm, on the board of Coca Cola, a business consultant traveling around the world and he lectures at the University of Chicago.
