Five People Killed, One Missing In Bridge Collapse In Southern Indiana
(CBS) -- Five people are dead after a bridge collapse in southern Indiana. A truck and van were swept off the road.
First responders are going to continue this morning to look for a person who is still missing. It happened on Friday in the town of Laurel, in Franklin County, which is about 60 miles southeast of Indianapolis. A witness called 911 around 5:30 a.m. after hearing cries for help. A family of four was inside a sedan, and two adults were in a truck when the bridge washed away.
