Esiason: Tice Had 'Biggest Impact On Offense'

(WSCR) As Mike Tice takes on the role of offensive coordinator for the Bears, he'll look to build on the success the team had during the middle part of the 2011 season.

One NFL expert thinks Tice was one of the main factors that propelled the team to its five-game winning streak before Jay Cutler's injury.

"I think he was the guy who had the biggest impact on the Chicago offense last year in the positive," Boomer Esiason told The McNeil and Spiegel Show. "He simplified things. He made sure people were held accountable. The most important thing was he had to protect the quarterback."
