Drunk Driver Arrested After Crash On I-57 That Injured Illinois State Trooper
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A drunk driver was taken into custody after a crash that injured an Illinois State Trooper early Wednesday morning.
According to police, the crash took place on I-57 at Wentworth just after 3 a.m. The trooper was taken to Christ Hospital with minor injuries.
Police confirmed the driver who hit the trooper was under the influence at the time of the crash.
