Deerfield school district investigating phishing email
A school district in Deerfield, Illinois, is investigating a phishing email.
According to an alert from District 109, an email with the subject "URGENT: Reference Check and Applicant Screening" is circulating from a district email account.
"The District is actively investigating the incident and working to quarantine the message," District 109 officials said.
Officials are warning anyone who received the email to delete it.
