Decomposed Body Found In Car Trunk On West Side
CHICAGO (STMW) -- The decomposed body of an man was found in the trunk of a car on the West Side Saturday.
Police were at a residence in the 500 block of South Denvir Avenue about 6:30 p.m. responding to a call for a well being check when the body of the unidentified man was discovered, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
According to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office, the unidentified man was in his 40s.
Alfaro said no further details were immediately available, and police are conducting a death investigation.
