Cubs Trade Fukudome To Indians For Two Prospects
(CBS) The Cubs traded outfielder Kosuke Fukudome to the Indians Thursday for two prospects.
Cleveland sent over outfielder Abner Abreu and right-handed pitcher Carlton Smith in the trade. The Cubs also threw in cash considerations.
In addition, outfielder Tyler Colvin was called up from Triple-A Iowa to replace Fukudome and will be available to play against the Brewers this afternoon.
