Cubs' Jorge Soler Leaves Friday's Game With Right Side Tightness

By Chris Emma--

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Cubs outfielder Jorge Soler was forced to leave Friday's contest with the Brewers after three innings due to tightness in his right side.

There was no clear cause to Soler's tightness. He batted third in the Cubs' makeshift order and had played the field in the third inning. Soler was replaced in the order by Miguel Montero, who took over at catcher while Willson Contreras assumed the role in left field.

Soler, 24, entered Friday hitting .245 in 82 games this season. He battled a hamstring injury early in the year.

Further updates on Soler's condition will be provided at a later time.
