Crain Reinstated From DL; Stults DFA'd
(WSCR) The White Sox have reinstated right-handed reliever Jesse Crain from the 15-day disabled list.
Crain, who was on the DL with an oblique strain, made two rehab appearances with Triple-A Charlotte , working two scoreless innings, with no hits and three strikeouts.
In a corresponding roster move, the team designated left-hander Eric Stults for assignment. The 32-year-old Stults was 0-0 with a 2.70 ERA (2 ER/6.2 IP) in two games (one start) with the White Sox this season.
