Sen. Lisa Murkowski Now Says She Will Vote 'Yes' To Confirm Amy Coney Barrett To Supreme Court

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago Judge Amy Coney Barrett is picking up another senator's vote to confirm her to the Supreme Court.

Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska has reversed her decision not to vote for Barrett. She says she has based the decision on the merit of Barrett's qualifications.

"We do that when that final question comes before us, and when it does, I will be a 'yes,'" Barrett said.

The nod from Murkowski gives Barrett a boost before the confirmation vote, which is expected Monday.
