CHICAGO (CBS) – The Bulls and fourth-year forward Patrick Williams did not get a rookie contract extension done by the 5 p.m. deadline on Monday.

That means the presumed starter will become a restricted free agent at the end of the season.

Williams is free to sign an offer sheet with any team, but the Bulls have the right to match the offer and keep him.
