Blackhawks Sign F Tanner Kero To 2-Year Deal
(CBS) The Blackhawks have signed 22-year-old forward Tanner Kero to a two-year deal, they announced Thursday.
Kero will report to the AHL Rockford Icehogs. In his senior season at Michigan Tech, Kero recorded a team-best 46 points (20 goals and 26 assists) in 41 games. That also led the Western Collegiate Hockey Association in points and was named its player of the year.
Before his collegiate career, Kero recorded 37 points in 55 games with the Fargo Force of the United State Hockey League in 2010-'11.
Kero is a Hancock, Mich., native.
