Blackhawks Reduce Training Camp Roster To 58 Players

(CBS) The Blackhawks have trimmed their training camp roster to 58 players after releasing forward Graham Knott on Thursday.

The active roster now has 32 forwards, 21 defensemen and five goaltenders. The Blackhawks have split their first two preseason games, both against the Red Wings.

Chicago plays at Montreal on Friday evening. It's not clear who all is making the trip, but the top players aren't expected to go.
