Black Friday is just around the corner on November 28, 2014. Do you know where you're planning to shop? This year, skip the malls and big-box retailers and head to independent stores in the Chicago area for your holiday shopping needs. While you won't exactly avoid the crowds when you shop at independent stores, you will be supporting local businesses right in your own community.
