Bears Sign Long Snapper Aaron Brewer
(CBS) The Bears have signed long snapper Aaron Brewer to a one-year deal, they announced Wednesday.
The 25-year-old Brewer has spent the past four seasons playing in Denver, where he played for Bears coach John Fox from 2012-'14. Brewer will likely compete against Patrick Scales.
Brewer was recently released by Denver.
Brewer has appeared in all 16 games each of the past four years. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of San Diego State in 2012.
