CHICAGO (STMW) -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 91-year-old man missing from the West Side Austin neighborhood since Tuesday afternoon.

J C Malone, or "JC," was dropped off by a caretaker about 5:30 or 6 p.m. near West Lake Street and North Central Avenue, according to an endangered missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Malone, who is diabetic, spoke with his son about 10:30 p.m. and said he was getting on the "L," but it is not known to which station he was headed, police said.

He is described as a 145-pound, 5-foot-7 black man with brown eyes, gray hair and a medium complexion, police said. Malone was last seen wearing khaki pants, a black shirt and black shoes.
