Friday Is Last Day For Free Christmas Tree Pickup For Recycling In Aurora

AURORA, Ill. (CBS) -- No judgment intended here, but if your Christmas tree is still up, Friday is the last day to get it picked up for free recycling in Aurora.

For proper disposal, you must strip the trees of any decorations, place them in a plastic bag, and put them on the curb if it is your regular trash day.

Any trees left on the curb after Friday will require a sanctioned sticker from the City of Aurora.

The trees will be recycled and used as mulch.
