5 Bucket List Items To Cross Off In Chicago

A bucket list is not sufficient in Chicago as it should be called the Chicago barrel list. The items to do and see are unlimited in Chicago as it is the city of adventure and fun; it could take a life time to experience everything Chicago has to offer. However, the following 5 bucket list items are necessary to cross off when experiencing Chicago.

This high energy show is full of surprises, laughter, excellent sounds and music; it is a show not to be missed in Chicago. One never knows what will happen when immersed in the Blue Man Group performance. The choreography in this show is incredible and the unique Chicago space allows for extensive interactions between the performers and audience; the Blue Man Group performance and venue is a must visit when in Chicago.  Briar Street Theatre was originally built as a stables in 1901 and has been the long time home of the Blue Man Group in Chicago.

Wrigley Field is home to the Chicago Cubs baseball team and the 2016 World Series champions. Wrigley Field is located on the north side of Chicago and an iconic landmark dating back to 1914; it was originally built for a baseball team called the Chicago Whales.  The beautiful ivy on the outfield walls of Wrigley field are a sight to see and the nostalgia of this baseball park make it one of the most visited baseball fields in the country. Wrigley Field is Chicago and watching the Cubs play is a must do when visiting Chicago.

One of the most spectacular views of Chicago is from The Signature Room on the 95th floor of the John Hancock Center.  Not only are the views amazing, but the food is also top notch at The Signature Room. One of the best brunch selection can be found on the weekends at this upscale dining venue. Day or evening is equally excellent at The Signature Room at the 95th; just do not forget a camera.

Chicago has one of best museum campuses in the world and the Museum of Science and Industry is one of the largest science museums in the world.  The exhibits are top notch and inspire creativity and learning; visiting this museum is a life changing experience.  Be sure to check out the website for special events, tours and experiences; plan ahead so that the visit can be as efficient as possible. A day is not enough time at the Museum of Science and Industry, but the visit will definitely make a meaningful impact.
