4-Year-Old Found Dead In Thorton; Police Believe He Was Playing With Gun
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A 4-year-old boy was found dead in south suburban Thorton.
Police believe he accidentally shot himself while playing with a gun. Police responded to a house on Blackhawk Drive just before 9 p.m. Thursday.
They found the boy with a gunshot wound to the head. He died later at a hospital in Harvey.
Police said someone in the house owned the gun. No arrests have been made.
