CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two people were found dead in an Old Irving Park neighborhood apartment Sunday evening on the Northwest Side.
Officers responding to a call for a well-being check at 7:36 p.m. in the apartment in the 3400 block of North Pulaski Road found 18-year-old Thalia Tellez and a 50-year-old man unresponsive inside, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Tellez, of the 3700 block of North Spaulding Avenue, and the man were both pronounced dead at the scene, the medical examiner's office said. The man's identity was withheld Monday morning pending notification of his family.
As of Monday morning, police said a death investigation was underway, but did not release additional details.
