The 2017 Chicago Auto Show has 1,000 cars to look at, touch and for some lucky visitors, to drive on the test track. Some car makers have big, bright, bold exhibits which dwarf others nearby, but there are also a lot of unique exhibits on the sides. These are places where visitors can talk cars in general rather than particular brands, drive simulators or just recoup their energy and recharge their phones. Here are some of the best exhibits at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show
Since 1901 the Chicago Auto Show has always been the biggest and boldest car show in the country, and the 2017 edition promises to be that and more. Three-dozen automakers will debut 40 vehicles, from flashy sports cars to super-safe family crossovers, as well as luxury sedans, energy-conscious coupes and smart cars, along with a couple of powerful pickups. From February 11 through 20, Chicago's McCormick Place will be the center of the automotive universe.
