Marlins-O's news and notes

Hey O's fans... I had some time off last week and was in DC with the Nats yesterday so if you've been looking for O's news on the site, sorry I've been MIA. But I'm back.... and will be with Jeremy and Scott for the remainder of the week at 5pm so make sure you tune in then for all the news from the ballpark.

Ok... some injury updates. I'm going to backtrack since I was unavailable the first part of this week. Lets start with Koji:

- Uehara will be at Camden Yards tomorrow and will throw to live hitters. Samuel and Kranitz will asses him and decide if he will stay or go to the minors for a rehab assignment. He threw 30 pitches on flat ground Monday and there were no issues. So Koji tomorrow and possibly a roster move.

- Speaking of a roster move, one will need to be made on Saturday when the O's need a fifth starter to face the Nats at home. Samuel was not ready to  name that starter but all fingers point to Brad Bergesen.

- Mike Gonzalez threw one inning Monday in the Gulf Coast League, 19 pitches to four batters. He allowed one hit and struck out two. The good news there was Gonzo reached 90-91 MPH, the highest since going on the DL. He will throw another inning on Friday and could return to the Big League club this week.

- Jim Johnson threw 25 pitches off a mound for the first time in his rehab on Monday. He threw 30 pitches again today.

- Felix Pie went 0-for-4 in his first rehab game at DH in the Gulf Coast League on Monday. He then went 1-for-4 on Tuesday with a run scored.
