Walker County high school student being held in ICE custody as community pushes for his release
A Georgia state lawmaker is stepping in after a 19-year-old high school senior was taken into ICE custody following a traffic stop and car accident. Despite posting bond for driving without a valid license, he remains detained at the Irwin County Detention Center after ICE placed a detainer on him due to his immigration status.
