Sunny, drier weather settles into metro Atlanta ahead of rainy weekend
Metro Atlanta is getting a rare summer break from the heat and humidity. Dry air will keep skies sunny and highs near 92 through Friday before rain and thunderstorms return for the weekend. The first day of school will also get a dry start for students in several North Georgia counties.
