Delayed meeting spared Gwinnett commissioner from Pentagon on 9/11
Jasper Watkins was headed to the Pentagon when Flight 77 struck on Sept. 11, 2001. The Army lieutenant colonel and military pharmacist escaped the attack and used his medical training to help those who were injured.
