Atlanta nearing record heat as temperatures climb into the 90s this weekend
After a cool start Friday morning, North Georgia is warming up fast. Forecasters say dry air and high pressure will bring plenty of sunshine and temperatures climbing into the upper 80s and low 90s through the weekend, with Atlanta nearing record heat by Sunday and Monday.
