Firefighters rescue construction worker trapped in Decatur trench
A construction worker was rescued with minor injuries after falling into a trench Friday morning in Decatur, according to DeKalb County Fire Rescue.
The department received the call shortly before 9 a.m. A spokesperson said the worker fell into a trench on Rainbow Drive.
Firefighters stabilized the area and rescued the worker, who was taken to a trauma center.
