Delays persist at O'Hare International Airport after ground stop

A ground stop was issued at O'Hare International Airport Monday morning due to an equipment outage.

An alert issued Monday morning indicated that flights headed to O'Hare were halted during the 7 a.m. hour due to the outage. The The Federal Aviation Administration said ground radar was involved.

The FAA issued the ground stop at 6:42 a.m., and the ground stop was over by 7:25 a.m. But flight delays persisted.

Dozens of flights were listed as delayed as of just before 8 a.m.
