Can sharks help us predict the weather?
Scientists are hoping sharks will help better predict the strength of tropical storms and hurricanes by as much as 20 percent. Researchers say sharks could become an important tool since they can swim long distances and into hard-to-reach depths at cheaper costs than conventional weather devices.
