Lake-effect snow triggers whiteouts, snarls traffic in parts of Midwest

An early snowstorm slammed the Great Lakes region as whiteouts near Chicago led to several crashes and more than a foot of snow fell in parts of Indiana. CBS News meteorologist Rob Marciano reports.
