Suspect In Critical Condition After Officer-Involved Shooting Near Sacramento Foods Co.
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A suspect wanted in connection to an attempted homicide out of Marysville is in critical condition following an officer-involved shooting near a Foods Co., the Sacramento Police Department said.
The department said officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the suspect. After locating the vehicle, police said gunfire erupted when they attempted to contact the man, who has not yet been identified.
The scene was in a parking lot on the 7400 block of West Stockton Boulevard.
The department said no officers were injured in the shooting.
The case continues to be investigated by Sacramento police.
