Sue Wong
Sue Wong is known for vintage-inspired gowns, but this time she took a more contemporary path. She said she wanted to create "walking canvases that are hand painted on silks based on the works of Miro, Matisse, Vassarelly, Ruscha." Kevan Hall
Africa inspired the latest collection from designer Kevan Hall. "I looked at the beautiful people there, the artwork, the gorgeous embroideries, the beading, and also the beautiful land--the sunsets and the colors," said Hall. Heatherette
The design duo Heatherette does not work for shrinking violets. They have made sequined minis for Shirley Manson and Paris Hilton, sewed tattered neon tees for Pink and Justin Timberlake, and dressed David Beckham, Alicia Keys, and Britney Spears. At left, former club kids turned design stars Traver Rains, left, and Richie Rich pose backstage on Oct. 15, 2007.

The latest Heatherette collection was unusually bearable and even wearable compared to previous efforts by the stupefyingly cool duo. At left, model and "adult film actress" Jenna Jameson poses on the runway at the Heatherette Spring 2008 fashion on Oct. 15, 2007 in Culver City, California.

Oh, well, let's say some of their latest outfits are almost wearable, but this is not one of them. At left, a model blows fairy dust, or something, during the Heatherette Spring 2008 fashion show on Oct. 15, 2007.

Nicky Hilton
Nicky Hilton--more civilized sister of Paris--aims for a young crowd with her casual Chick line. Her collection for Spring/Summer '08 was comprised of short dresses, baby dolls and tight knit shorts. Her inspiration: "the princesses of Disneyland, with the prince especially. There's a lot of subliminal messages." At left, models appear at the Chick show on Oct. 14, 2007.
