Dancing With The Stars -- Week 5
The competition is definitely heating up on the show. The judges loved the performances so much that there was a four-way tie for first place between Emmitt, Monique, Mario and Willa. Each couple ended the evening with 27 points.
Emmitt looked light on his feet and had no problem shaking his hips -- after a visit to the chiropractor!
Jerry made up for his lack of technique with a joyful, fun performance of the samba. He earned a respectable 24 points for his performance.
Ever the good sport, Jerry underwent an application of self-tanner to get in a Rio de Janeiro mood.
Joey didn't have his best performance, but he earned 25 points.
Karina and Mario steamed up the dance floor with their ultra sexy rumba.
Even judge Bruno Tonioli implied Karina and Mario might be more than partners, telling them to keep doing "whatever it is you're doing after hours."
Monique blossomed in the rumba, showing extraordinary flexibility in this move which she held at the end of the routine.
The judges also complimented Monique on her beautiful, fluid arm movements.
Although she looked stiff at times, Sara seemed to be enjoying herself in the samba.
Even though she landed tied in last place with Jerry, Sara seemed happy with her 24 points.
Willa and Maksim performed a torrid rumba.
When Willa said in the post-performance interview that she and Maksim "have great chemistry no matter what we're doing" the audience erupted in cheers and applause. The couple are rumored to be in a relationship.
