Watch a (Very Nervous) Steve Jobs Do Early TV Interview

He wasn't always the Sultan of Suave. Someone got their hands on an amazing video of a 23 year-old Steve Jobs doing what appears to be one of his first television interviews. Knowing Jobs' subsequent transformation into a master of the medium, the butterflies betrayed by the young, nervous man in the clip waiting for the interview to begin is all the more remarkable.

Watching with some astonishment that he actually can see himself on camera, he tells the technicians hooking him up for the interview: "God look at that! Look at that! I'm on television!"

But he's also visibly uncomfortable. At one point, he warns, "I'm deathly ill and ready to throw up at any moment."
