T'Wolves Sign Nesterovic
Radoslav Nesterovic, the Minnesota Timberwolves' first-round pick in 1998, signed a multi-year contract with the club prior to Tuesday night's game against the Houston Rockets.
Nesterovic, who was in uniform to start the game, recently finished his second season with Virtus Kinder Bologna, where he averaged 13.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per games during the Italian League regular season.
"We're happy that he can participate for us for the remainder of this season," team vice president of basketball operations Kevin McHale said. "We want him to get his feet wet and get acclimated to the NBA and the Twin Cities."
Curley played in 35 games this season and averaged 2.2 points and 1.5 rebounds per game. The Timberwolves also waived rookie center Trevor Winter, who appeared in one game this season.
The Timberwolves placed forward Bill Curley on the injured list with a sprained right wrist.
