The Right Makeup For Brengle

Monday morning marked the halfway point of The Early Show's Putting it Together makeover series.

From Monday, Oct. 20, through Sunday, Oct. 26, stylist to the stars, David Evangelista, invited viewers to vote on which hairstyle and color would look best on Lori Brengl . And look B was the winner: It was the Maryellen hairstyle with the brunette color and toffee highlights.

Though Brengle's hair is fine, Evangelista notes she has a lot of hair. And the color he adds, "I think with her skin tone, it will make her eyes look so blue."

On Monday, Oct. 27, the three models, Jenny, Maryellen and Mariana, were back to show three different make-up looks. Celebrity makeup artist Nick Barose created all three especially for Brengle. So now it is your time to vote from Oct.27 through Nov. 2.

About her complexion, Brengle says it is quite fair but it has dark freckles. She wonders, "Do you go light to match the skin tone or dark to match the freckles?"

Evangelista answers, "When you look at the mirror, it's a painting. That's how you have to think."

Here are the looks to choose from:

Look A – Monochrome, Peachy Palate With Strong Lip

Model Jenny
Evangelista and Barose decided that a monochromatic look would be one good option for Brengle, as it's relatively foolproof with little chance of overdoing eyes or cheeks. But they wanted to add a little pop of color. Jenny is wearing a monochromatic palate of peaches, but to liven the look up a touch, Barose added a stronger lip with a warm stain that adds just a little punch.

Look B - Glowy, Dewy, Bronzed Look

Model Maryellen
This look gives a really healthy, warm glow to the model's face. Using sheer bronzers and eye colors, Barose has achieved a look that makes Maryellen appear radiant. The browns and neutral colors would complement Brengle's coloring perfectly, the stylist says, and the makeup is sheer enough to let her skin show and shine (it's not too, too made up).

Look C - The Smoky, Sexy Eye

Model Mariana
The most dramatic of the three looks is worn by Mariana and is called the sexy, smoky eye. Barose and Evangelista agree that it's best, when playing up one feature like the eyes, to keep the rest of the face neutral. So with the smoky shadows and liners used on Mariana, Barose has used a nude lip gloss. Again, it's a great look for Brengle - it would make her blue eyes pop out, and it's unlike anything she's ever worn before.
