Ted Robinson

Ted Robinson is in his fifth season as a play-by-play announcer for CBS Sports' coverage of college basketball.

Robinson called play-by-play for the CBS Network's coverage of freestyle skiing and short track speed skating at the 1998 Olympic Winter Games. He handles play-by-play for the USA Network's coverage of U.S. Open Tennis Championships, is the current voice of the San Francisco Giants, and also handles college football broadcasts for Stanford University.

Robinson has called play-by-play for the CBS Radio Baseball Game of the Week. He is a former play-by-play announcer for the USA Network's coverage of basketball, golf, and World League Football.

A former voice of the Minnesota Twins, Robinson has also called Big East Network football and basketball games. He worked as a play-by-play announcer for NBC's coverage of Major League Baseball's Game of the Week.

Born July 19, 1957, Robinson lives in Atherton, Calif., with his wife and two children.
