Taliban Claim Logar Attack

In an Internet statement signed by Taliban's spokesperson Zabihulla Mujahid, the group claimed responsibility for an attack that targeted 2 U.S. military vehicles in Kabul. The statement said that 5 U.S. troops had been killed in the attack, including three female troops.

Today's media reports said Taliban fighters killed three females who worked for the New York-based International Rescue Committee along with their Afghan driver in Logar province.
