Strip for Putin, win iPad 2

By comparison, Obama Girl's body of support on behalf of Barack Obama's presidential candidacy was strictly a down-on-the-farm affair. An Internet push is urging Russian women to strip to support Vladamir Putin as Russia's next president. As a sweetener, the organizers say the lucky winner can win an iPad 2.

In the brief video, the camera follows a well-appointed young Russian woman strolling around town before she takes out red lipstick to adorn a tee-shirt with the slogan, "I will tear my clothes off for Putin." (Sorry, you'll have to watch the video to find out what happens next.)

"The goal: For Putin to be president!" according to a statement on the "Putin's Army" web page on the Russian social networking site vkontakte.ru/armiaputina, which was posted on the blog of a parliamentarian who belongs to Putin's ruling United Russia party.

Russia's presidential elections take place next year. Putin, who hasn't yet announced plans, currently is Russia's prime minister. He served as Russia's president between 1999 and 2008. The story was first reported by The Telegraph.
