Sixers Pick Up Rhodes
The Philadelphia 76ers have signed free agent guard Rodrick Rhodes, who was released by the Orlando Magic earlier this week.
The 6-6, 225-pound Rhodes has played in 71 NBA games over two years and averaged 5.4 points and 17.3 minutes per game. He was Houston's 24th pick in the first round of the 1997 draft and was traded to Vancouver in March, then went to Orlando in August.
"Rodrick's ability to play the one, two or three gives us added depth on the perimeter," general manager Billy King.
