Sinead O'Connor calls off divorce

(CBS) Sinead O'Connor has decided to try to make her three-week marriage work after all. The singer, who announced last week that she was ending her marriage to Barry Herridge, tweeted that the two were going to give a try again.

"Spent beautiful evening of love making with [none] other than husband! Who turned up angelically we decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend...guess who had a mad love making affair with her own husband last night?" O'Connor tweeted Tuesday.

"We decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend again an stay married but we did not rush so we gonna return to b friend g friend," the "Nothing Compares 2 U" singer said in another tweet.

O'Connor met Herridge, a 38-year-old therapist, online and the couple was married in Las Vegas. O'Connor announced the marriage was over 16 days later on Christmas eve. The wedding was O'Connor's fourth trip down the aisle.

"He [Herridge] has been terribly unhappy and I have therefore ending the marriage," O'Connor explained on her website.

Now the two are seeking relationship help, tweeting that they would go to counseling and move in together in a year like "regular people."
