Seeing Double: Easter Bunny A Fixture In Two Administrations

Here's photographic proof that Defense Secretary Robert Gates is not the only holdover in the Obama Administration.

This Easter Bunny has now served at the side of at least two U.S. presidents as an advisor and escort at the annual Easter Egg Rolls on the South Lawn.

Its evident that age has taken its toll on the bunny – who clearly looked much younger in the photo with Pres. Bush.

By grabbing the bunny's ear at yesterday's Egg Roll, Pres. Obama risked protests from PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. But it was just a joke. The president's microphones shut down, and Mr. Obama grabbed the bunny's ear as if it was a spare mike.

It might have left the bunny hopping mad, but all was forgiven as the overgrown rabbit accompanied Mr. Obama as he visited with children taking part in the day's activities including an egg roll, a book reading and basketball toss.
