Indie southerner Brad Skistimas goes by the name "Five Times August." You've probably heard the music of the 26-year-old singer/songwriter on a bunch of popular shows. In fact, every song on his debut album received play on national television.
He just released a new album, "Life As A Song," where he has collected the best tracks of his first two highly-regarded albums.

Five Times August's debut album, "The Independent," earned the songster a level of success rarely achieved by indie artists. Every song on that record received play on national TV.
He has sold over 105,000 digital downloads and 16,000 physical CDs independently, and he has performed over 250 live shows in the last three years in 45 of the 50 states.
He averages seven months a year on the road, and has toured with acts such as Augustana, Dashboard Confessional, Mat Kearney, Matt Nathanson, Josh Kelley and Matt White.
In 2007 and 2008, he was voted one of the Top 5 College Performers in "Campus Activities Magazine."
And he has had an impressive 70 song placements in film, commercials and television including CBS, ABC, HBO, FOX, MTV, The CW, Oxygen and Lifetime without a licensing company.
