"Saturday Night Live" stars Fred Armisen and Abby Elliot split
(CBS) It's over between "Saturday Night Live" stars Fred Armisen and Abby Elliot.
The couple reportedly began dating last year, after Armisen split from his ex-wife, "Mad Men" star Elisabeth Moss.
"He was away all summer filming in Portland, she was on location somewhere else," a source told People magazine. "They spent a lot of time apart, and they started to grow apart."
"They're still good friends," the source added of Armisen, 44, and Elliot, 24. "This wasn't a bad breakup or anything."
Moss and Armisen separated in June 2010, after eight months of marriage, and the actress filed for divorce three months later. The divorce was finalized in May 2011.
