A multi-generational household is a fancy way to describe kids, parents, and grandparents, sometimes even great-grandparents, living in the same home.
While it isn't always easy, experts say it represents a growing trend.
On The Early Show Tuesday, viewers met the Zaras, of Columbus, N.J. Mark them down for four generations under one roof.
And co-anchor Rene Syler spoke with Donna Butts, executive director of Generations United, which tries to foster closer ties between children and older people.
