Reports: Lions Clean House
The Detroit Lions have fired offensive coordinator Sylvester Croom, defensive coordinator Larry Peccatiello and wide receivers coach Jerry Sullivan, CBS' "NFL Today" and the Detroit News reported.
The moves were made after coach Gary Moeller had a season-ending meeting with players and coaches, the Detroit News reported Monday. An official announcement is expected Tuesday.
Moeller and other Lions officials could not be reached for comment Sunday night.
The firings capped a turbulent season for Detroit, which saw coach Bobby Ross resign midway through the season.
The Lions finished 9-7, missing a spot in the playoffs last week with a 23-20 loss to Chicago.
