Ready or not, here comes Facebook Timeline

Facebook Timeline is about to become the de-facto welcome page for the 800 million people who use the world's biggest social network. Facebook announced earlier today that it intends to extend Timeline to all its users within "the next few weeks."

Facebook users will get seven days to preview what's populated on Timeline in case they care to edit what others can before Facebook pushes the feature live

Timeline, which Facebook introduced at its F8 conference in September, includes all items that a person has shared on the social network since they joined. Some Facebook users got access to Timeline last month when Facebook opened up the opt-in to all of its users. You can find out more about Timeline here.
