Mulder and Scully finally make out on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

"The X-Files" are coming back, and though the reviews have been mixed, fans are excited to see one of TV's favorite duos reunite.

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprised their characters, Agent Fox Mulder and Agent Dana Scully for a skit for the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

In the video, host Jimmy Kimmel introduces Mulder and Scully to 2016 and its conveniences, like non-dial-up Internet.

But he also tells them that there's something people have been waiting for since the 1990s.

"You two should have sex," he says bluntly.

"What?!" asks Scully.

"You should," he responds. "It's been, like, 23 years. Everybody knows ... " referring to their infamous sexual tension.

As Scully protests, Kimmel says, "It's time to do it already," and Mulder and Scully let go of their inhibitions in a passionate make-out session.

Watch below and finally satisfy that Mulder and Scully ship you've had for decades. You can also tune into the first minute of the first episode here. The show premieres Jan. 24 on Fox.
